They specialize in prop and costume design for the film & TV industries, as well as for high-end theme parks like those by Disney. He is also a competitive axe thrower with Cascadia Axe Co., in Medford, Oregon. The Heckleproof fellas share their unique experiences living in Oregon – both Zach and Matty J grew up in Southern Oregon (specifically the Rogue Valley), Levi was raised in Central Oregon (though no one really cares about that), and Carl moved out to Oregon after previously passing through in his early days of traveling as a stand-up comic. What’s the difference between being arrogant and being confident? Are there times that one is appropriate over another? The Heckleproof Squad tackles the current trend of cancel culture. Also more WTFFacts from Matty J, and Carl quizzes the guys with some devious relationship trivia. Mark Thomas Johnson, has worked with hundreds of bands, solo artists, and ensembles, including national headliners Jim Belushi and the Sacred Hearts, Craig Chaquico, McKenna Faith, Bill Frisell, Justin Hayward, Vince Herman and Loose Cannon, Eric Johnson, Lake Street Dive, Los Lonely Boys, Jeff Pevar, Rob Schneider, Martin Sexton, Mike Stern, David Wax Museum, and Zepparella. In this episode, Matty gets Zach high, and the guys dive into their music collections, try out their Obama impersonations, and share more #WTFfacts. In this episode, the guys visit with Amanda Morgan, a breathwork specialist and meditation guide. The crew talk about energy work, ayahuasca, plant medicines, and the like. Also, Zach gets his third eye measured and opens up his throat chakra with some of Matty’s herbs. Carina Kolodny, sex educator and media activist, joins the Heckleproof fellas to talk about cliteracy. Kolodny has been a co-host of the HuffPost Love+Sex project and is a vocal supporter of The Cliteracy Project, founded by conceptual artist Sophia Wallace. In this episode, Carl’s prostrate leads the guys into a battle of ramen noodles and mac & cheese. Then the guys get deep about some of their upbringings, before detouring into #WTFfacts, where Carl and Matty bring up some of the recent ludicrous news stories to discuss. The Heckleproof crew sits down with Dateline NBC Producer Shane Bishop to chat about how the show is made, how stories are followed, and how being on Dateline has effected Shane’s life.
